Charity
Over the last few years I've tried to use the things I create to try to give back.
-
In 2017, post the election, I sold Frank Ocean shirts to raise money for the ACLU
-
In 2017 I partnered with my agency at the time, Digitas, to sell photography prints to raise money for the Harlem Educational Activities Fund
-
In 2018, I sold photograph prints and donated the proceeds to the Multicultural Advertising Internship Program
-
In 2020 my partner and I, Anne-Sophie Collier, brought the idea of a charity gallery called for Gallery For Good. I sold two photography prints for the Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective
-
In the summer of 2020, I gave away dozens of photography prints and had the recipients donate money to a variety of organizations; mutual aid funds, local BLM chapters, bond funds, etc.
In total over several years I've been lucky enough to raise ~$2500 via my work
